Master Cleanse Recipe and Other Fasting and Cleansing Techniques



The Master Cleanse Recipe!

Here are the basic ingredients to create a single serving:

10oz Purified Water

2 tbsp Grade B Organic Maple Syrup (not pancake syrup or Grade A)

2 tbsp Organic Lemon juice (fresh squeezed; not lemon juice from concentrate)

1/10 tsp Organic Cayenne Pepper

You will also need:

Sea Salt (not iodized)- to be used to create a system flush drink for the mornings (optional)

laxative tea- to be used in the evening to help cleanse bowels (can also be used in the morning instead of salt water mixture)

History of Fasting and Detoxification

From saunas and sweat lodges to fastings being recorded in the bible, cleansing and fasting have been a part of human history for thousands of years. Archaeologists have even discovered written herbal prescriptions dating back to 2700 B.C. in China.

The full body fast purifies the organs of the body from harmful toxins. Although there is little scientific evidence that cleansing or fasting improve overall health, many people believe fasting and cleansing improves energy and increases the body's immune system.
